We’re now a Milk Drop Depot in partnership with Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee.
A Mother’s Village is proud to partner with Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee (MMBTN) to make milk donation easier for families in Bowling Green. As an official Milk Drop Depot, we’ll soon be accepting frozen milk donations from approved donors.
(Official opening date and scheduling details coming soon!)
Why Milk Donation Matters
Every drop of donated breast milk has the power to make a life-changing difference. Donor milk is often used to nourish premature and medically fragile infants, babies whose parents may not be able to provide their own milk due to illness, low supply, or other medical complications.
When families share their extra milk, they’re offering more than nutrition, they’re offering healing, protection, and hope. Human milk helps protect vulnerable babies from infections, supports brain and gut development, and can significantly reduce the risk of serious conditions like necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).
At A Mother’s Village, we’re proud to make giving back simple and local through our partnership with Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee (MMBTN). Approved donors can drop off their frozen milk right here in Bowling Green, knowing that it will be safely processed and delivered to hospitals and families who need it most.
Your donation truly helps save lives.
What is a Milk Drop Depot?
A Milk Drop Depot is a community collection site for approved human milk donors. Once screened through Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee, donors can drop off their frozen milk locally. All milk is safely transported to MMBTN for pasteurization and testing before being distributed to fragile infants in need.
