Our most frequently asked questions…
General Questions
+ How do I book a consultation?
You can book directly through our website using the below button.
If you’d prefer to chat first, feel free to reach out!
For emergencies or same-day availability, please text or call us at (270) 938-3404.
+ Do you have an office?
Yes! We are located in Southern Warren County (Plano area). Our address is: 1240 Warrior Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104
+ Can I bring additional people to the office with me?
You’re welcome to bring one adult support person. Siblings/children are not permitted.
Please call us at (270) 938-3404 if you need to request an exception.
+ Do you provide in home consultations?
Yes, we offer in-home visits within a 20-mile radius of our office in Bowling Green, KY. A travel fee may apply if you're outside of this area.
+ Do you charge a travel fee for in home consults?
No travel fee if you’re within our 20-mile service area.
Outside of that? We wish we didn’t have to charge, but longer drive times limit our availability for other families.
You’re always welcome to book an office visit instead to avoid extra fees.
+ Are you in network with my insurance?
We are not in-network with any insurance provider. However, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
We cannot guarantee reimbursement and do not offer refunds for services rendered.
+ Why should I seek care from A Mother’s Village instead of a provider in network with my insurance?
Because we offer expert care in a calm, supportive space that feels nothing like a clinic.
You’re not just a chart number here—you’re a family.
We pride ourselves on: ✔️ Relationship-based care ✔️ A peaceful, focused environment ✔️ Evidence-based, specialized lactation support
We are not a one-stop-shop. And that’s intentional.
Our model avoids conflicts of interest—like recommending unnecessary procedures—and ensures you’re referred only to the best specialists when needed.
Many families find that the true out-of-pocket cost of using an in-network provider (co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance for both parent and baby) can equal or even exceed our self-pay rate.
+ You will fix all my problems during our visit, right?
We always hope to make big progress! But let’s be honest: Some issues resolve quickly. Others take practice, consistency, follow-ups, and time.
We’ll be with you every step of the way—cheering you on and adjusting your care plan as needed.
+ I have a breastfeeding or pumping problem/question. I don't really feel like I need consultation, can I just text you?
We totally understand—it’s tempting to send a quick message. But... We legally and ethically can’t provide individualized care without a full intake and consent.
Feel free to message us to ask if we’re a good fit—but for assessment or advice, a consultation is required.
