Not near Bowling Green, or just can't make it in? A virtual assessment gives us a full, functional evaluation: how your baby sucks, moves their tongue, and feeds, using the same clinical criteria as an in-office visit. If a hands-on exam or frenectomy referral is needed afterward, we'll guide you through next steps.

Insurance:
We are in-network with most major insurance plans. In-network means lactation services can be processed through insurance, subject to plan-specific cost-sharing, deductibles, or coinsurance.

Emily completed Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad, a Masterclass for IBCLCs — advanced training in how an infant's oral function and habilitation directly shape breastfeeding success, going beyond a standard tongue-tie evaluation.
Emily is TOTS® (Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty) Trained — advanced training in identifying and managing tongue and lip ties.
Emily is Master Reflexive™ Oral Function Trained — advanced training in reflex-based infant oral function assessment.
Emily is also a yearly attendee of the GOLD Tongue-Tie Symposium, is trained in TalkTools Post-Operative Frenectomy Management, and has completed Structure and Function training on how an infant's physical structure affects their feeding function — bringing ongoing, current expertise in tongue-tie evaluation, pre/post-release care, and whole-body feeding assessment.
